Holding a Bachelor of Law (LLB) and a Master's in Commerce with a specialization in management, he brings a robust academic background to his work. He is currently a Research Assistant at Zhejiang Sci-Tech University, China. His research focuses on sustainability, the development of eco-friendly products, and ethical fashion design.
As a prominent member of both the Taxes Bar Association and the Bar Council of Bangladesh, Advocate Ashraf Ahmed has played a pivotal role in shaping legal discourse in the fields of taxation and corporate law. He is currently the Chairman of Heritage Research and Professional Institute, an organization dedicated to promoting legal and professional excellence.
Beyond his legal career, Advocate Ashraf Ahmed is deeply committed to social causes, particularly in the realm of education in rural areas. He actively engages in initiatives aimed at improving educational opportunities for underprivileged children in village communities, reflecting his dedication to social change and empowerment.

Hamidur Rahman (born 15 June 1973) is a Bangladeshi business consultant, cultural personality, and media actor. He holds both graduate and postgraduate degrees in English Literature from the University of Dhaka. His career began as a Cultural Coordinator at the Bangladesh-France Embassy Cultural Center, followed by leadership roles in corporate consultancy, including General Manager at CM International Ltd. and consultant for Foster Ltd. and Genusys Ltd. Currently serving as Director of HRPI, he also brings entrepreneurial experience in the garments sector and has acted in films such as Ora Shatjon and Mrentunjoee.

Muhammad Shamim Azad-Shaion is a heritage fashion leader with 19+ years of experience, currently serving as Men’s Departmental Manager at Aarong. Renowned for his efficiency and vision in Bangladesh’s retail market, he has mastered the design and development of both traditional and contemporary menswear. His expertise spans Jamdani, Nakshi Kantha, hand embroidery, and other heritage crafts, blending cultural authenticity with modern appeal.
He has been honored with the Sir Fazle Hasan Abed Award (2025) and the Value Award for his outstanding contributions to fashion and heritage. As Senior Design Manager, he leads trend forecasting, annual fashion presentations, and fabric optimization. Currently, he is pioneering sustainable product development, advancing work with recycled fabrics and upcycled designs to align fashion with environmental responsibility.
He is also a member of the Heritage Research and Professional Institute (HRPI), an educational institution where his mastery in heritage and design creates new opportunities for learning and knowledge-sharing—building the next generation of fashion professionals.

Currently managing a business portfolio exceeding $100M at NEXT Sourcing, he leads diverse teams and delivers consistent results for leading brands across the UK, EU, and US. Beyond his corporate role, he contributes industry insights as a writer for Diplomats World Magazine and engages with the National Institute of Global Studies to enhance Bangladesh’s global presence. Since 2025, he has also served as Director of the Heritage Research and Professional Institute (HRPI), where he leads professional development initiatives, research projects, and training programs aimed at strengthening industry capabilities and global competitiveness. His work focuses on bridging academia and industry through knowledge sharing, policy dialogue, and skill development for future-ready professionals.

Currently serving as Quality Control Manager at OVS Hong Kong Sourcing Ltd. He specializes in quality management, process optimization, supplier evaluation, and regulatory compliance across knit, woven, lingerie and home textile products. As a Director of the Heritage Research and Professional Institute (HRPI), he contributes his expertise as a quality consultant, providing training, guidance, and advisory support to advance product standards, operational excellence and sustainability in the RMG industry.

He has worked with leading organizations such as MCG, Niagara Textiles Ltd. and Auko-Tex Group, and currently serves as Senior Manager – OD & Training at Bitopi Group as well as Senior Consultant at Savvy Consultancy. Certified by Tchibo, ALLIANCE, WRAP, and BGMEA, he specializes in talent acquisition, succession planning, performance management, training and organizational development. As a Director of the Heritage Research and Professional Institute (HRPI), he contributes his expertise as a training consultant and advisor.

Imran Hossain is a textile professional with over 12 years of experience in denim and garments, specializing in laundry, wet processing, and artwork (dry process). He has held key positions including Assistant General Manager at Paradise Washing Plant Ltd., Senior Manager at Windy Group, and Manager – Wash R&D at Ananta Denim Technology Ltd. Currently serving as a Director of the Heritage Research and Professional Institute (HRPI), he contributes to textile industry research, professional training and the development of sustainable production practices, with a focus on technical consultancy in wet processing and laundry operations.

Shamim Akter is a renowned heritage handloom weaver and Benaroshi artist in Bangladesh, recognized for his exceptional skills and contribution to traditional textiles. With extensive experience in handloom art and heritage textile preservation, he has played a significant role in promoting Bangladesh’s cultural craftsmanship. Currently, he serves as Director of the Heritage Research and Professional Institute (HRPI), where he leads initiatives in research, professional training and the development of traditional textile arts, ensuring the preservation and innovation of the country’s rich handloom heritage.

Professor Nusrat Jahan Nipa is a fashion researcher, educator, socioeconomic analyst and handloom researcher, dedicated to advancing sustainable and ethical fashion practices. She is the CEO of the Heritage Research and Professional Institute. She is Professor at Zhejiang University, China, also serving as a faculty member at Shanto-Mariam University of Creative Technology. Her Ph.D. research with the China–Malaysia Education Research Team focuses on the socioeconomic development of Asian handloom weavers. She actively develops research-based education modules tailored to the Asian perspective. She holds a Master’s degree in Fashion Theory & Practice (Research-Based) from Zhejiang Sci-Tech University, China. Recognized nationally and internationally, she has received the “Handloom Daughter” honor from the Bangladesh Textile Ministry (2022), the Young Handloom Researcher award from Visva Bharati University, India (2023), the Innovation in Ethical Fashion Project award at the China Six International Entrepreneurship Competition and the Global Youth Leadership Award from the Dubai Parliament (2023).
