Heritage Research and Professional Institute is in research collaboration with 3 Department of Zhenjiang Agriculture Business college

An international exhibition was organized at the China National Silk Museum by the Heritage Research and Professional Institute, in collaboration with Zhejiang Sci-Tech University (ZSTU). All products and designs featured in the exhibition were created by the Sawiaa Fashion brand. The program was sponsored by the Fashion Design Department of Zhejiang Sci-Tech University. The exhibition featured a diverse collection of Bangladeshi handmade textiles, including Jamdani, Rajshahi silk, Tangail Sharee, Khadi etc

The President of the Chinese Indigenous Community expressed appreciation for the excellent development work of our Research Center. In the future, China and Bangladesh will initiate a new joint project focused on the development of indigenous communities, particularly in the areas of traditional crafts and heritage textiles.

  • Formalize Agreements: Establish Memoranda of Understanding (MoUs) or Letters of Intent (LoIs) to define collaboration scopes, responsibilities, and shared objectives.

  • Secure Initial Funding: Apply for seed grants or joint funding opportunities to support preliminary research activities.

Phase 2: Capacity Building & Infrastructure Development

Duration: 6–24 Months

  • Training Programs: Implement joint training sessions, workshops, and short courses to enhance skills in research methodologies, data analysis, and project management.

  • Infrastructure Enhancement: Invest in upgrading research facilities and technologies to meet international standards, facilitating effective collaboration.

  • Knowledge Exchange: Encourage researcher and student exchanges to promote cross-cultural understanding and knowledge sharing.

Phase 3: Collaborative Research Implementation

Duration: 1–3 Years

  • Joint Research Projects: Initiate co-designed research projects addressing mutual interests, ensuring equitable participation and benefit sharing.

  • Data Sharing Protocols: Establish clear guidelines for data collection, sharing, and intellectual property rights to maintain transparency and trust.

  • Regular Communication: Hold periodic meetings and conferences to monitor progress, address challenges, and adapt strategies as needed.

Phase 4: Dissemination & Policy Engagement

Duration: 2–4 Years

  • Publications: Co-author research papers in reputable journals to disseminate findings widely.

  • Policy Briefs: Develop policy recommendations based on research outcomes to influence national and international policy frameworks.

  • Stakeholder Workshops: Organize events to share insights with policymakers, industry leaders, and community representatives.

Phase 5: Sustainability & Expansion

Duration: 2–4 Years

  • Long-Term Funding: Pursue sustained funding avenues, including endowments, to ensure the longevity of collaborative efforts.

  • Network Expansion: Broaden the collaboration network by incorporating additional partners from academia, industry, and government sectors.

  • Institutionalization: Integrate successful collaborative models into institutional frameworks to embed them into regular operations.
